Who can leave a review
Only the Customer and the Tasker on a completed booking can review each other, once the job is confirmed complete. Each person can leave one review per booking. This means every review comes from a real job booked and paid through Tadaa.
Customers are asked to rate their Tasker when they confirm a job is finished. They can give any rating from 1 to 5 stars, and the written review is optional.
What we don't allow
- Fake reviews, or reviews by anyone who wasn't part of the job.
- Reviews written or influenced by someone with a conflict of interest, such as a friend, relative or competitor.
- Offering, giving or asking for any reward, discount or favour in return for a review, or for changing or removing one. We don't allow incentivised reviews at all.
- Pressuring someone to leave a positive review or not to leave a negative one.
When we remove a review
We never remove a review because it's negative. We only remove or hide a review if it is fake, written with a conflict of interest, incentivised, contains personal information or contact details, is abusive, discriminatory or threatening, is unlawful or defamatory, or is about a different job or person. Every removal is recorded with the reason, and the person who wrote it is told.
How we prevent fake reviews
- Reviews are only possible on bookings that were paid and confirmed complete through Tadaa.
- Every Customer and Tasker has their identity verified before booking or offering.
- We monitor for patterns of suspicious reviews and investigate reports. If we find fake or incentivised reviews, we remove them, recalculate ratings, and may suspend or close the accounts involved.
How ratings are shown
A profile's star rating is the average of all its visible reviews, with the number of reviews shown next to it. Reviews are shown newest first. Badges such as “Top rated” are awarded automatically using the rules shown in the badge description.
