1. What we are
Tadaa operates an online marketplace that connects people who need tasks done (“Customers”) with independent service providers (“Taskers”). We are not a party to the service contract between a Customer and a Tasker, and Taskers are not our employees or agents.
2. Accounts
Creating an account and profile is free. You must be 18 or over, give accurate information and keep your login secure. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or put others at risk.
3. Fees
- Publishing a task: £3 for your first published task, then £5 per task. Drafts are free.
- Tasker membership: £10 per month. Optional promotion: £5 per month.
- Job payments are the price agreed between Customer and Tasker, of which a 10% platform fee is deducted from the Tasker's payout (the Customer pays no extra).
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Job payments are collected when a Customer confirms a booking and are released to the Tasker 14 days after the Customer confirms completion (or after automatic confirmation 7 days after the Tasker marks the job complete), provided no dispute is open and the Tasker's payout account and verification are complete. This is a scheduled release, not an escrow service.
5. Conduct
Keep communication and payment on the platform. Don't post illegal, unsafe or discriminatory tasks, and don't harass other users. We may remove content and moderate conversations to keep the marketplace safe.
6. Disputes
If something goes wrong, report it from the job page before the payout is released. Our team will review the evidence and may refund the Customer in full or in part, or release payment to the Tasker. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
