Who we are
Tadaa is the controller of personal data processed through this service. Contact: privacy@tadaajobs.com (replace before launch).
What we collect and why
- Account data (name, email, password hash) — to provide your account (contract).
- Task and profile data, including postcode and address — to run the marketplace (contract). Full addresses are only shown to your booked Tasker.
- Messages — to let you communicate; we may review them for safety, fraud prevention and dispute resolution (legitimate interests).
- Payment data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Identity verification — performed by Stripe Identity. We store only the verification result and a reference, not your documents or images.
- Tasker earnings — we may be legally required to report these to HMRC (legal obligation).
Sharing
We share data with processors who help us run the service (hosting, Stripe, our email provider) under contract, and with authorities where the law requires.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is open. Transaction and tax records are kept for at least 6 years. Messages are kept for 2 years after a task closes unless needed for a dispute.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. You can request account deletion from Account settings. You can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies (your sign-in session). We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
